About the New Muslim guide

How long does it take to learn everything?
The basics (5 prayers, wudu, shahada) can be learned within 2-3 weeks at a relaxed pace. You can always come back for revision. No time limit.
Is it confidential?
Yes. You can create an account with a pseudonym. Only you see your progress. The imam-buddy only if you want.
What if I need to learn to pray in Arabic?
We teach you the Arabic words phonetically (transliteration) and with meaning. You don't need to read Arabic to be able to pray.
Is there help if I get stuck?
Yes. Via the 'Ask an imam' button you can open a free chat with a volunteer imam-buddy. Usually a response within 4 hours.
Does it cost money?
