Reserve and pay in advance.

Eid al-Adha comes round every year — and every year the mosque arranges the sheep via WhatsApp, notes and loose amounts. With Khutba World you set up one campaign (50 sheep, €350 each, deadline 1 May), members reserve and pay in advance. The system tracks stock. Done.

For Eid al-Adha the mosque needs to know in time how many sheep are needed. But in practice it's chaos every year. Members reserve via a note, pay in advance or afterwards, lose track of who paid what.

With Khutba World the board sets up one campaign per year: title, price, optional limited stock (50 sheep — first come first served), deadline. Members reserve in the app and pay directly via iDEAL, Tikkie or cash. Unpaid reservations expire automatically after 72 hours — slot becomes available for the next person.

In the dashboard the board sees per member: status, payment method, amount, receipt. Also handy for the board: upload photo of paper proof for cash payments for extra audit trail.

Why advance booking works

One system for the entire Eid cycle

From first reservation to distributing the meat — everything in one place.

Stock tracking

Set aside 50 sheep, system tracks it. Unpaid reservations expire after X hours — slot available.

iDEAL, Tikkie, Cash

Member chooses how to pay. Board marks cash in dashboard, all methods deliver same receipt.

Deadline timer

Reservation deadline for registration + payment deadline per reservation. Both automatic.

Audit trail per slaughter

Who paid what, who received the cash, who collected the meat — all recorded.

Fair, in advance, without notes.

An active campaign in the dashboard — board sees everything at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

About Sheep Eid al-Adha

Limited stock or open orders?
You choose per campaign. Limited stock ('we've arranged 50 sheep') = first-come-first-served and sold out warning. Open orders = unlimited number of registrations, you arrange the purchase afterwards.
What happens if someone doesn't pay?
Reservation remains 'reserved' until the paymentDeadlineHours (default 72 hours) have passed. Then automatically set to 'expired' — slot becomes available for others. Important with limited stock.
Does the member get confirmation for cash?
Yes. Identical to iDEAL or Tikkie: email with PDF receipt + push 'Reservation confirmed ✓'. Board marks in dashboard 'cash paid' + amount, the system does the rest.
Can a member order multiple sheep?
Yes, choose the quantity per reservation. With limited stock the system checks if enough are available.
Can we share slaughter info?
In the campaign description you can mention where the slaughter takes place, on which day, and how the meat is distributed (self collection, delivered, to the poor, to the mosque). Members see this before they reserve.
What if a member doesn't turn up for the meat?
Status remains 'paid' — the board arranges further distribution themselves (for example donate to poor fund). Note field in dashboard to track this per reservation.

One campaign per year, no more mess.

Set up your Eid al-Adha campaign 2027 and let members reserve and pay in advance.
